I also agree with that in order to have children interested in learning we need teachers who are willing to work with the kids and with technology. In the reading “Its not about the technology” she is right about technology is no good in schools without good teachers. So we as future teachers need to be well educated in all new technology. I believe also that if a teacher is technology illiterate that they aren’t worth very much in the school system. Mr. Fisch had some really good points about why a teacher should know about technology, technology is what everything is coming to in our world today. I also agree that you must never stop learning in Gary Hayes Social Media Count, technology grows more and more every single day.Stephanie Bellettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00605976515949246704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979756091173955770.post-25942138450644351072010-09-18T12:15:52.253-05:002010-09-18T12:15:52.253-05:00You are right. I'm pretty sure I have already seen some of those blogs you are talking about!Tara Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00085383667444668571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979756091173955770.post-65365960814565004492010-09-18T11:01:26.311-05:002010-09-18T11:01:26.311-05:00Well reasoned, well written. Maybe not 30 years ago, but in 1950 or 1960 (60 or 50 years ago) it would have been easy to find teachers that had difficulty reading and couldn't write. Some of them lasted in the systems for another 10 or 20 years. So maybe 40 years ago Mr. Fisch should have said. But then, he wrote this 4 years ago. Close. There are at least 5 students in EDM310 this semester that cannot write. Well, they can put letters and words together. But they cannot write. You may even have an opportunity to comment on their blogs and see for yourself! They are juniors in college and want to be teachers!John Hadley Strangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17484977903995419205noreply@blogger.com
